Our work together will use powerful techniques to get to the heart of the issue, building on a multi disciplinary approach rooted in evidence based psychotherapy and modern coaching ideas. We will integrate three cores areas of your life:

  • Your inner world - looking at your critical voice, your sabotaging thought patterns, the individualities of how your mind works, cognitive reframing, inner narratives and much more.

  • Your emotional world - where we will explore what you’re feeling at a deep and profound level, make peace with your emotions, as well as learning to control them and express them.

  • Your somatic world - integrating your physical, embodied experience into your life, so that you make friends with your nervous system, incorporate the vagus nerve, re-integrate long held traumas and begin to understand the link between brain and body.


The power of personal sessions vs AI

AI is proving to be a modern wonder. From booking our holiday to explaining our ADHD to us, ChatGPT and other large language models are flourishing. They provide us with answers to our questions with, as yet, varying degrees of accuracy. Still in its infancy, this powerful technology is only going to get bigger and better, mimicking the human relationship in ways we can only wonder at today.

One thing AI can never do however is understand the lived experience of being a human in a living breathing body. It cannot experience the physical sensations of anxiety, it can’t ruminate over questions we have no clear answer to and it will never sit in front of Netflix crying into a tub of Ben & Jerry’s!

It can learn the most common things that humans experience and guess at these things for us, but it can never replicate the unique relationship that exists between two humans, which is at the very heart of the therapeutic relationship. To be seen, heard, validated and understood by another human and have that space held for you with compassion is something precious and sacred, and it is offered within the therapeutic and coaching experience.

I offer highly effective, personalised sessions.

  • My MSc in Psychotherapy has given me the breadth of knowledge needed to draw from many therapeutic approaches, including person centred therapies and cognitive therapies, with certifications in CBT, EFT and working as a Certified Professional ADHD coach.

  • I am trained in RTT trauma treatment which is used by many branches of the NHS and rape and crisis centres around the country to help people recover from traumas of any scale.

  • I specialise in using the advances of neuroscience and modern psychology to help you improve both your relationship with yourself and your relationships with others. Together we create new beliefs and attitudes to ensure success when tackling life’s challenges.

  • I am a qualified and committed life coach whose approach centres on respect and empowerment where we work together in a compassionate environment to create achievable and meaningful relationship goals.

This background allows me the freedom and flexibility to choose just the right approach for you. I do not rest on one discipline, but instead am able to offer you the targeted help you need, based wholly on your requirements and lifestyle.
