Supporting you, no matter what
My unique combination of coaching and therapy offers help to anyone who needs it, with real life advice, techniques that work and a safe place to reflect and build.
Effective and committed sessions that work for you
I offer regular one hour sessions to help you resolve the issues you are struggling with. Whether it is long standing and unresolved trauma, damaging patterns from childhood, lack of purpose and goals, failing relationships or a sense that life has taken a wrong turn, I can help you to:
identify the issues and root causes
break out of long-standing and damaging behaviour and cognitive patterns
improve your day to day life and relationships
achieve goals with ongoing accountability and between session support
receive compassionate and supportive space to explore what is and isn’t working for you
make the changes you need and want to make with full understanding of what is driving them and someone by your side to support you every step of the way
Unlike traditional therapy, I offer between session support, full session notes and a sense that someone is on your side throughout the week.
Unlike traditional coaching, I offer a space for you to explore childhood issues, unresolved trauma and identify deep patterns of damaging behaviours and responses that still play out in your world.
“Within four sessions, my life went from barely wanting to get out of bed to having goals and feeling bloody excited about them.”
— Hazel, 23
Having completed my MSc Masters of Science in Psychotherapy, I found myself increasingly uncomfortable with the traditional therapy model. I did not want to sit quietly as an impartial observer and watch people struggle through their problems. I wanted to engage with people in a more active, empowering way.
I chose to re-train as a life coach, and now I am able to combine both modalities and offer my clients personalised and highly powerful sessions. Working with me, you will learn the tools needed for you to create your own solutions to life’s problems and together we will build up a toolkit for you to take through life, enabling you to build strong and confident relationships with loved ones and most importantly with yourself.
Combining the best approaches
I have an MSc in Psychotherapy, and draw on therapeutic approaches including existential psychotherapy, deconstructivism and narrative therapy.
As part of my relationship coaching, I am experienced in offering Imago Relationship Therapy, amongst other approaches.
I am also RTT trauma trained, somatically trained, a certified CBT practitioner and EFT/TFT practitioner and am a certified ADHD specialist.
My Personal Approach
Within our sessions, you will be given the space and support to find your own solutions in a respectful and non-judgemental environment. I offer a thoughtful and analytical approach, and provide focused problem solving in a caring, supportive space.
I will work collaboratively with you to help you identify the challenges in your life and with your relationships. I do not impose my own views but instead believe that you are the expert on your own life and choices. I will support you to recognise what areas are leaving you feeling dissatisfied, build a plan to improve your day to day interactions and work towards long term solutions for creating a positive and happy future .
I only work with a handful of clients at any one time and never tell a client I can help them if I am not 100% sure I can provide practical help and actual positive change.
